Australia in September 2005: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Australia in September 2005, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.

- Lord of the year chart

The solar year began on 14 April 2005, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Canberra, Pisces was rising.
Jupiter rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 7th house, which keeps foreign relations, treaties and trading partners in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Mercury in the 1st house brings busy talks, paperwork and brisk trade to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Rahu in the 1st house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Saturn in the 4th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Ketu in the 7th house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
