Australia in July 2034: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Australia in July 2034, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Simha (Leo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Surya (Sun) in house 9
The solar year began on 14 April 2034, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Canberra, Leo was rising.
Sun rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 8th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances.
Mars in the 10th house brings drive, quick decisions and some heat in debate to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
Saturn in the 11th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to lawmaking, alliances, gains and shared hopes.

Saturn here tends to ask for patience, restructuring and careful budgets in these matters.
On 13 July 2034 Saturn moves into Cancer: the 4th house from the founding chart's rising sign (land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home) and the 4th house from its Moon.
Guru (Jupiter)
Jupiter is in Pisces: the 12th house from the founding chart's rising sign (public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight) and the 12th house from its Moon.
Jupiter here tends to support growth and sound planning in these matters.
Rahu
Rahu is in Virgo: the 6th house from the founding chart's rising sign (the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration) and the 6th house from its Moon.
