Australia in December 2049: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Australia in December 2049, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Mithuna (Gemini)
- Lord of the year chart
- Budh (Mercury) in house 11
The solar year began on 14 April 2049, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Canberra, Gemini was rising.
Mercury rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 11th house, which keeps lawmaking, alliances, gains and shared hopes in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 1st house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Saturn in the 8th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances.
Sun in the 10th house brings attention from the authorities and a push for order to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
