Australia in August 2060: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Australia in August 2060, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Mesha (Aries)
- Lord of the year chart
- Mangal (Mars) in house 12
The solar year began on 14 April 2060, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Canberra, Aries was rising.
Mars rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 12th house, which keeps public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Sun in the 1st house brings attention from the authorities and a push for order to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Rahu in the 1st house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Jupiter in the 2nd house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to national wealth, reserves, food supply and the tone of public speech.
Saturn in the 2nd house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to national wealth, reserves, food supply and the tone of public speech.
Ketu in the 7th house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
