Canada in November 2021: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Canada in November 2021, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Canada on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Ottawa and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Kanya (Virgo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Budh (Mercury) in house 7
The solar year began on 13 April 2021, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Ottawa, Virgo was rising.
Mercury rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 7th house, which keeps foreign relations, treaties and trading partners in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Saturn in the 5th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to education, the young, the arts, entertainment and the share markets.
Jupiter in the 6th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration.
Mars in the 10th house brings drive, quick decisions and some heat in debate to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Vrishchika (Scorpio)
On 16 November 2021 Sun moves into Scorpio, the 3rd house of the year chart (communication, the media, transport links and dealings with neighbours).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
- Guru (Jupiter) enters Kumbha (Aquarius)
On 20 November 2021 Jupiter moves into Aquarius, the 6th house of the year chart (the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration).
Jupiter here tends to support growth and sound planning in these matters.
Eclipses
- Lunar eclipse
A lunar eclipse falls on 19 November 2021 in Taurus, the 9th house of the year chart (higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield).
The weeks around an eclipse are read as a time to review and finish rather than to launch new public ventures in the matters it touches.
