Canada in August 2029: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Canada in August 2029, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Canada on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Ottawa and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Kanya (Virgo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Budh (Mercury) in house 8
The solar year began on 13 April 2029, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Ottawa, Virgo was rising.
Mercury rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 8th house, which keeps shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Mars in the 1st house brings drive, quick decisions and some heat in debate to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Jupiter in the 1st house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Rahu in the 4th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Saturn in the 8th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances.
Ketu in the 10th house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Shani (Saturn) enters Vrishabha (Taurus)
On 8 August 2029 Saturn moves into Taurus, the 9th house of the year chart (higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield).
Saturn here tends to ask for patience, restructuring and careful budgets in these matters.
- Surya (Sun) enters Simha (Leo)
On 16 August 2029 Sun moves into Leo, the 12th house of the year chart (public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
- Guru (Jupiter) enters Tula (Libra)
On 24 August 2029 Jupiter moves into Libra, the 2nd house of the year chart (national wealth, reserves, food supply and the tone of public speech).
