Canada in February 2048: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Canada in February 2048, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Canada on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Ottawa and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Vrishabha (Taurus)
- Lord of the year chart
- Shukra (Venus) in house 1
The solar year began on 14 April 2047, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Ottawa, Taurus was rising.
Venus rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 1st house, which keeps the country as a whole and the general mood of its people in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Moon in the 7th house brings shifting public mood and a focus on everyday needs to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Saturn in the 8th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances.
Jupiter in the 12th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Mangal (Mars) enters Vrishchika (Scorpio)
On 10 February 2048 Mars moves into Scorpio, the 7th house of the year chart (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners).
Mars here tends to speed things up and raise the temperature of public debate.
- Surya (Sun) enters Kumbha (Aquarius)
On 13 February 2048 Sun moves into Aquarius, the 10th house of the year chart (governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
