India in September 2031: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for India in September 2031, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Simha (Leo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Surya (Sun) in house 9
The solar year began on 14 April 2031, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at New Delhi, Leo was rising.
Sun rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Rahu in the 4th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Jupiter in the 5th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to education, the young, the arts, entertainment and the share markets.
Venus in the 10th house brings comfort, the arts and easier agreements to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
Saturn in the 10th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
Ketu in the 10th house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.

Saturn here tends to ask for patience, restructuring and careful budgets in these matters.

Jupiter is in Scorpio: the 7th house from the founding chart's rising sign (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners) and the 5th house from its Moon.
Jupiter here tends to support growth and sound planning in these matters.
