Nepal in June 2023: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Nepal in June 2023, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Nepal on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Kathmandu and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Simha (Leo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Surya (Sun) in house 8
The solar year began on 14 April 2023, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Kathmandu, Leo was rising.
Sun rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 8th house, which keeps shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Saturn in the 7th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Jupiter in the 8th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances.
Venus in the 10th house brings comfort, the arts and easier agreements to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Mithuna (Gemini)
On 15 June 2023 Sun moves into Gemini, the 11th house of the year chart (lawmaking, alliances, gains and shared hopes).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
