Nepal in January 2032: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Nepal in January 2032, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Nepal on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Kathmandu and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Kanya (Virgo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Budh (Mercury) in house 7
The solar year began on 14 April 2031, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Kathmandu, Virgo was rising.
Mercury rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 7th house, which keeps foreign relations, treaties and trading partners in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Moon in the 4th house brings shifting public mood and a focus on everyday needs to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Jupiter in the 4th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Saturn in the 9th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Makara (Capricorn)
On 15 January 2032 Sun moves into Capricorn, the 5th house of the year chart (education, the young, the arts, entertainment and the share markets).

- Mangal (Mars) enters Meena (Pisces)
On 30 January 2032 Mars moves into Pisces, the 7th house of the year chart (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners).
