Nepal in September 2033: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Nepal in September 2033, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Nepal on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Kathmandu and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Meena (Pisces)
- Lord of the year chart
- Guru (Jupiter) in house 12
The solar year began on 14 April 2033, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Kathmandu, Pisces was rising.
Jupiter rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 12th house, which keeps public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Mercury in the 1st house brings busy talks, paperwork and brisk trade to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Ketu in the 1st house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Saturn in the 4th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Moon in the 7th house brings shifting public mood and a focus on everyday needs to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Rahu in the 7th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Mars in the 10th house brings drive, quick decisions and some heat in debate to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Kanya (Virgo)
On 17 September 2033 Sun moves into Virgo, the 7th house of the year chart (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
Eclipses
- Solar eclipse
A solar eclipse falls on 23 September 2033 in Virgo, the 7th house of the year chart (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners).
The weeks around an eclipse are read as a time to review and finish rather than to launch new public ventures in the matters it touches.
