Nepal in August 2058: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for Nepal in August 2058, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for Nepal on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Kathmandu and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Simha (Leo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Surya (Sun) in house 9
The solar year began on 14 April 2058, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Kathmandu, Leo was rising.
Sun rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Ketu in the 4th house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Jupiter in the 8th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances.
Saturn in the 9th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield.
Rahu in the 10th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Simha (Leo)
