United Arab Emirates in February 2001: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United Arab Emirates in February 2001, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United Arab Emirates on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Abu Dhabi and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Simha (Leo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Surya (Sun) in house 9
The solar year began on 13 April 2000, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Abu Dhabi, Leo was rising.
Sun rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 9th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield.
Saturn in the 9th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Mangal (Mars) enters Vrishchika (Scorpio)
On 3 February 2001 Mars moves into Scorpio, the 4th house of the year chart (land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home).
Mars here tends to speed things up and raise the temperature of public debate.
- Surya (Sun) enters Kumbha (Aquarius)
On 12 February 2001 Sun moves into Aquarius, the 7th house of the year chart (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
