United Arab Emirates in September 2018: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United Arab Emirates in September 2018, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United Arab Emirates on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Abu Dhabi and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Mesha (Aries)
- Lord of the year chart
- Mangal (Mars) in house 9
The solar year began on 14 April 2018, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Abu Dhabi, Aries was rising.
Mars rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Venus in the 1st house brings comfort, the arts and easier agreements to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Rahu in the 4th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Jupiter in the 7th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Saturn in the 9th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield.
Ketu in the 10th house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Kanya (Virgo)
On 17 September 2018 Sun moves into Virgo, the 6th house of the year chart (the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
