United Kingdom in September 2020: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United Kingdom in September 2020, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United Kingdom on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for London and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Simha (Leo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Surya (Sun) in house 9
The solar year began on 13 April 2020, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at London, Leo was rising.
Sun rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 6th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration.
Saturn in the 6th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration.
Venus in the 10th house brings comfort, the arts and easier agreements to governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Kanya (Virgo)
On 16 September 2020 Sun moves into Virgo, the 2nd house of the year chart (national wealth, reserves, food supply and the tone of public speech).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
- Ketu enters Vrishchika (Scorpio)
On 23 September 2020 Ketu moves into Scorpio, the 4th house of the year chart (land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home).
Ketu here tends to bring a review of old ways and a quieter, inward turn.
- Rahu enters Vrishabha (Taurus)
On 23 September 2020 Rahu moves into Taurus, the 10th house of the year chart (governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world).
Rahu here tends to stir new ideas and fresh ambitions, along with some uncertainty.
