United States in March 2012: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United States in March 2012, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United States on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Washington DC and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Makara (Capricorn)
- Lord of the year chart
- Shani (Saturn) in house 9
The solar year began on 14 April 2011, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Washington DC, Capricorn was rising.
Saturn rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 9th house, which keeps higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 3rd house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to communication, the media, transport links and dealings with neighbours.
Sun in the 4th house brings attention from the authorities and a push for order to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Meena (Pisces)
On 14 March 2012 Sun moves into Pisces, the 3rd house of the year chart (communication, the media, transport links and dealings with neighbours).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
