United States in May 2025: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United States in May 2025, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United States on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Washington DC and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Kanya (Virgo)
- Lord of the year chart

Planets that stand out
Ketu in the 1st house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Venus in the 7th house brings comfort, the arts and easier agreements to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Saturn in the 7th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Rahu in the 7th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Jupiter in the 9th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel and trade far afield.
