United States in June 2042: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United States in June 2042, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United States on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Washington DC and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Dhanu (Sagittarius)
- Lord of the year chart
- Guru (Jupiter) in house 12
The solar year began on 14 April 2042, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Washington DC, Sagittarius was rising.
Jupiter rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 12th house, which keeps public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Saturn in the 11th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to lawmaking, alliances, gains and shared hopes.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Ketu enters Kanya (Virgo)
On 5 June 2042 Ketu moves into Virgo, the 10th house of the year chart (governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world).

- Rahu enters Meena (Pisces)
On 5 June 2042 Rahu moves into Pisces, the 4th house of the year chart (land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home).
Rahu here tends to stir new ideas and fresh ambitions, along with some uncertainty.
- Guru (Jupiter) enters Tula (Libra)
On 9 June 2042 Jupiter moves into Libra, the 11th house of the year chart (lawmaking, alliances, gains and shared hopes).
Jupiter here tends to support growth and sound planning in these matters.
- Surya (Sun) enters Mithuna (Gemini)
On 15 June 2042 Sun moves into Gemini, the 7th house of the year chart (foreign relations, treaties and trading partners).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
