United States in January 2054: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United States in January 2054, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United States on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Washington DC and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Tula (Libra)
- Lord of the year chart
- Shukra (Venus) in house 7
The solar year began on 13 April 2053, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Washington DC, Libra was rising.
Venus rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 7th house, which keeps foreign relations, treaties and trading partners in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 1st house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Saturn in the 5th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to education, the young, the arts, entertainment and the share markets.
Sun in the 7th house brings attention from the authorities and a push for order to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Mangal (Mars) enters Dhanu (Sagittarius)
On 11 January 2054 Mars moves into Sagittarius, the 3rd house of the year chart (communication, the media, transport links and dealings with neighbours).

- Surya (Sun) enters Makara (Capricorn)
On 14 January 2054 Sun moves into Capricorn, the 4th house of the year chart (land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
