United States in August 2068: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United States in August 2068, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United States on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Washington DC and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Kanya (Virgo)
- Lord of the year chart
- Budh (Mercury) in house 8
The solar year began on 13 April 2068, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Washington DC, Virgo was rising.
Mercury rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 8th house, which keeps shared resources, taxes, insurance and sudden shifts in public finances in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Jupiter in the 5th house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to education, the young, the arts, entertainment and the share markets.
Saturn in the 12th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Simha (Leo)
On 16 August 2068 Sun moves into Leo, the 12th house of the year chart (public spending, foreign investment, ports and work done out of sight).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
- Shani (Saturn) enters Kanya (Virgo)
On 29 August 2068 Saturn moves into Virgo, the 1st house of the year chart (the country as a whole and the general mood of its people).
Saturn here tends to ask for patience, restructuring and careful budgets in these matters.
