United Arab Emirates in March 2014: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United Arab Emirates in March 2014, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United Arab Emirates on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Abu Dhabi and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Dhanu (Sagittarius)
- Lord of the year chart
- Guru (Jupiter) in house 6
The solar year began on 13 April 2013, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Abu Dhabi, Sagittarius was rising.
Jupiter rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 6th house, which keeps the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Mercury in the 4th house brings busy talks, paperwork and brisk trade to land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home.
Saturn in the 11th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to lawmaking, alliances, gains and shared hopes.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
Planets changing sign
- Surya (Sun) enters Meena (Pisces)
On 14 March 2014 Sun moves into Pisces, the 4th house of the year chart (land, housing, farming, the season's weather and the mood at home).
The Sun's month puts the official side of these matters in the light.
- Mangal (Mars) enters Kanya (Virgo)
On 25 March 2014 Mars moves into Virgo, the 10th house of the year chart (governance, institutions and the country's standing in the world).
Mars here tends to speed things up and raise the temperature of public debate.
