United Arab Emirates in May 2014: themes from the sky
These are broad themes for United Arab Emirates in May 2014, read from the chart cast when the Sun entered Mesha, from the country's founding chart and from any eclipse in the month. They describe tendencies in public life, not fixed events.
No founding chart is used for United Arab Emirates on this page, so it reads from the Mesha Sankranti chart cast for Abu Dhabi and from the eclipses.
Mundane readings here stay with themes and timing windows. They say nothing about any public figure and do not try to name particular events.
The year chart (Mesha Sankranti)
- Cast for
- Lagna
- Mesha (Aries)
- Lord of the year chart
- Mangal (Mars) in house 6
The solar year began on 14 April 2014, when the Sun entered Mesha. In the chart cast for that moment at Abu Dhabi, Aries was rising.
Mars rules the rising sign and so sets the tone of the year's chart. It stands in the 6th house, which keeps the workforce, public services, public debt and day to day administration in focus through the year.
Planets that stand out
Ketu in the 1st house brings a quieter, inward turn and the letting go of old patterns to the country as a whole and the general mood of its people.
Jupiter in the 3rd house brings growth, support and wider opportunity to communication, the media, transport links and dealings with neighbours.
Saturn in the 7th house brings slow, patient work, tighter budgets and some delays to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
Rahu in the 7th house brings new and unusual directions, with some confusion along the way to foreign relations, treaties and trading partners.
The founding chart
No founding chart is read for this country: there is no agreed time for it, or it is older than the charts here can reach.
